The Best Crockpot Pot Roast
3-4 lb chuck roast
1qt beef broth
1 package of dry onion soup
1 hidden valley ranch pack
Golden or red potatoes
carrots
Pour 1 qt of beef broth in to crockpot. Mix in onion soup mix and half of the hidden valley ranch pack. Season the roast with your favorite season salt. Place roast in crockpot. Cook for 4-5 hours.
Put potatoes and carrots in the crockpot and pour the remaining hidden valley ranch pack over the vegetable. Cook for 3-4 more hours on low.

Melt in your Mouth Brisket
1 Brisket untrimmed
Lewis Livestock Seasoning
Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
Generously season the brisket with your favorite seasoning. Brown on the grill (be careful not to start a grease fire :)). Place brisket fatty side up in a disposable roasting pan. Place in preheated oven uncovered for 1 hour.
Turn oven temperature to 250 and cook for at least 10 hours. Check the brisket throughout the day and adjust temperature of oven accordingly. When you stick a fork in the meat and it falls apart it is time to eat!
